I had no idea I even kept this thing for as long as I did! If you've read any of this in the past, you might notice that lots of posts have been deleted or edited. Since my intent is to start blogging again I figured it was a good idea to clean it up a little around here, toss a lot of the boring purely venting posts, get rid of broken links, remove all instances of TMI....you know. I doubt I will continue posting at this specific blog but it's linked to me for now.

the doll thing may be getting slightly out of hand. i now also have the voodoo guy, the patchwork girl, the scarecrow boy, the mini doctor and nurse, and the glowing ghost girl is on her way. i need people to play dollies with. :(

work is worky. gonna be taking a vacation to Costa Rica soon but there are various issues needing addressing. i don't know if my vacation will be paid (probably not, come to find out, but i need to talk to my boss). the Mad Hatter Tea Party is on the first weekend in February and i already made plans with Melissa to go to it again this year, but if i get a tattoo then i'll have to keep it completely covered in Costa Rica because of the sun and salt water. we also don't even know when we're going exactly, if we can push it back to March somehow then i should be able to get my tat (probably the penguin armband) and have more chance of accumulating vacation time, even though i don't have any idea how the vacation system works. also, my paychecks are going biweekly at some point in the next couple months and the pay period is changing to start on Sunday instead of Thursday, so my paychecks will be mega fucked up at some point, so i have to try and save just in case (not to mention the ungodly amount i'd have to save to cover an unpaid week's vacation). so in short, things aren't going badly, but i'm getting stressed around the edges. :P plus i haven't seen my friends at all lately outside of friends i work with, and i'm really starting to miss certain people. i started City of Heroes up again not too long ago but i never really want to play and know there are better things i could be doing, namely art stuff. winter does that though. why aren't i just a little more passionate about the things i enjoy? i know i'm more productive in the summer, i think i really do need to get to a warmer climate, or at least somewhere with more opportunities, but before i can do that i'd have to save a lot, and thats hard to do on my pay. i'm not unhappy, just unmotivated. i like my job lots but its not something i want to do forever. i need to start buying lottery tickets. :P

its 1 in the morning, Zack's been sleeping next to me for like an hour or so. that means i should get my butt to bed. ugh, its a little hard to breathe in here cuz of the neighbors' cigarettes. ewwy. it should be easier to breathe in the bedroom, so i'm going there.

so after i realized i didn't like the victim doll that came with Nosferatu, i posted on the LDD board asking for customization ideas, but there wasn't anything i liked and unfortunately i don't have time for customs right now. but then someone emailed me and offered me $20 plus s&h for the doll (i paid just under $14 for the set) so the victim should have a new home soon. i win!!!

and yesterday i got my keys for work, i bossed people around all day and it was great.

so lately i've been getting into Living Dead Dolls, i don't really know why, i think because there havent been too many action figures i've wanted in a while. but i only like the really unique ones, not the plain blah dolls. i have a few of the Fashion Victims (the taller, voluptuous versions) and the pirate and today i bought the Nosferatu set on clearance at Hot Topic, i dont like the victim girl cuz shes kinda dull but Nosferatu is so cute. and i'm getting the voodoo guy and the mini doctor and nurse (to go with the mini crazy girl) through someone on the LDD message board. ugh, and buying another Fashion Victim from work on Sunday....and then someone just posted on the board that they're selling the patchwork girl and scarecrow guy for cheap, but i really can't, i need to buy my family's presents. then again, after wednesday i'll have another disposable $70 or so, i like my paycheck this time of year. :)

its really windy today, the building is shaking. i have to go to my parents house and i would like to leave but its so windy that i'm afraid to drive on the highway. stupid wind. >:

i got to see gwar here, it was really fun even though i woke up the night before with a sore throat and whatnot, and had to see the show through the haze of sudafed. i was sad that slymenstra wasnt there, and also i couldnt find rick even though he said he was going and i havent seen him in forever. but me and gabe had fun, and there was lots of (freezing cold) colored water "blood" being sprayed on everyone, and we were all red and blue when we got out. i went to blow my nose and it came out blue because it had gotten in my nose piercing. plus my pores were bluish the next day. :P i didnt do anything except play san andreas all day on halloween because i was so sick. josh even called and asked me to work for him becuase HE was sick too. i'm still not totally 100% even, i wake up feeling ucky every morning, and zack's starting to not feel awesome either. :(

our neighbor across the hall, tori, the only neighbor we actually know, moved out a few days ago since she needs a first floor apartment and we're on the third. so new neighbors soon. today it sounded like there was cleaning or something going on in there. so this could be ok or suckass. she was nice, when she heard me coughing really hard when i was sick she'd leave her box of herbal teas outside our door.

hmm i'm hungry but i dont think theres anything here i wanna eat, or at least anything that makes a decent snack as opposed to meal. cuz i'll eat when i ge tot my parents house....we have a huge bag of twizzlers, snickers, m&ms and reeses cups from zack's mom, its leftover from halloween since they dont get too many trick or treaters up there. maybe i'll have a fluffernutter or something. i'd have an orange but they're annoyingly juicy and too hard to peel without destroying the sections and releasing the juice.

i think the wind has died down some so i should get going soonish.

you know what, this presidential election is just plain embarrassing. i was listening to some moron's radio show this morning and he was talking about something they're building called the "wafflehead," which is a big statue of Kerry's head thats going to say "vote for me on wednesday!" (as in the 3rd); its an obvious ripoff of the Bush pants on fire thingy. Also all the nashing between parties is driving me insane. It's justified for the Democrats to pick on Bush's performance, since he's already IN office; they have to point out why he's not fit to serve another term. But one would think it was the job of the Republicans to defend their candidate instead of constantly spearing the reputation of the opposition. Are there not enough good things to say about Mr. Bush that you have to go digging up and making up bad things about the other guy? It's really pissing me off, it's my first year voting in a presidential election and it's virtually impossible to become in any way informed about the actual policies of the candidates beyond the standard party values.

Ugh. :P

yaayyy the tae bo tapes i ordered from amazon finally got here last night so i tried one of the new ones today and like half the time i was like "wtf? you want me to do WHAT???" i knew it was gonna be different but i didnt know how much stupid footwork and ridiculous balancing would be required. there was a guy in a wheelchair in it, and when i saw him (this is going to sound awful) i said "hold up little jimmy! you're not THAT handicapable!" half the time when they showed him he was just boppin his head along to the music since they were non-arm exercises. 2 more tapes to check out...eventually maybe i'll get all 12 but this works for now, i was sooo sick of the one i had to begin with.

today i spent too much money, i got some stuff from work since halloween clothes were 40% for employees today: fishnet fingerless glovelets, arm length fingerless spiderweb gloves, dangly red and silver spider earrings, and these really hot stockings. then i went to hot topic and got a pair of coffin earrings and put a lace tanga and a totally kickass ruffly skirt on layaway; i only put $10 down but i can afford another $10 this week i think, since i'll have another paycheck on wednesday. like anyone cares...i'm really excited about the skirt tho, its soo cute and i have a lot of things i can wear it with, plus i just really needed a new black skirt thats wasn't too short to wear to work or too long to annoy me.

got my gwar ticket, i'm pretty psyched. i have some options for halloween ngiht too. plus my brother is supposed to have a halloween party (cuz me and my mom talked me into it) so i'll help decorate, i'll be in brunswick on wednesday so i want to do some stuff then.

work is getting interesting since i'm in training, plus we have 2 new people (Petya the Bulgarian chick and big dumb Eric the ICP/anime fanboy both left so we neded new people, plus the impending holidays) and i like them both so far. yesterday Frank let me watch him pierce someone's ears, he says i get to watch a couple more times and then i get to practice. i wonder who i'll be practicing on.

now i should get to work on typing up the script for the movie i'm helping Danielle make for her film class. its about pirates. :D

oh, i dyed my hair back to black. i think i'm gonna shave it all but the bangs, i dont like my haircut in black, its not weird enough, and i've been wearing bandanas over everything but the banghs and it looks cute. today i was wearing a pirate bandana, the dangly coffin earrings and my big fur coat and i looked totally Russian.
