does anyone know anything about Karaoke Night? all the posters say is that its on April 11th and to ask a mysterious creature called a "peer helper" for info. i have no idea what a peer helper might be, let alone how to contact one. do you think they are friendly animals, or fearsome beasts? do they like very small animals?? if i left a trail of jellybeans, would they follow it? anywho i'm very interested in karaoke night so if you have any clue (i can't believe they wouldn't have said anything about it on the morning announcements, or have they?? someone please listen for me and tell me!!!) as to what's up with signing up and stuff, i'd be muchly appreciative.
i don't even know what song i would perform. if Katey is interested at all, we could do a duet of Give Peace a Chance, because, hey, why the hell not??? yeah, if anyone's interested in singing' with me, that'd be great. if i have to sing alone, i might do Strawberry Gashes by Jack Off Jill, cuz i can sing it and i could dress up really cute for it, or Cherry Lips by Garbage, cuz, once again, i can sing it, and its a totally kickass song. tho if i did Cherry Lips i'd want a guy to dress in drag and go go dance onstage with me, cuz thats kind of the premise of the song....a crossdresser who makes a very very convincing girl and its even got a "go baby go go" part to the song. well, i have lots of options, since my collection of music by chicks has grown quite a lot in the past few months, thats about all i ever buy. theres a Sneaker Pimps CD in the used bin that is calling my name loud and clear and i really ought to see if i can get $10 off my brother for it before someone else gets it....DON'T TOUCH THE SNEAKER PIMPS CD. the only reason i didn't buy it a couple days ago was cuz i only had enough for one used cd and i bought Fluffy's "Black Eye." Sneaker Pimps would've been better....
now i ramble. i miss Zack. and cuz i have nothing better to do, that's mostly all thats on my mind, which royally sucks. i wish i could find the part of Zack's birthday present that i want to make, but i don't know where it could be (its a project i started a long time ago and i never finished it but its super cute, or at least it will be when its done, so it's gonna be part of Zack's present if i can ever find it....)
tomorrow me and Zack are going to see Henry Rollins at the State Theater, its a spoken word performance and it will most definitely be awesome. yay!!!

if you've been keeping up with your online news, you've probly read about the concert in Oslo where a fan was struck in the head by a sheep's head, fracturing his skull (the fan's, not the sheep's). during Mayhem's performance, lead singer Maniac was slice 'n dicing a dead sheep onstage, when the critter's head got airborne and collided with Per Kristian Hagen's freaky head bangin' noodle. the band has promised him a free ticket to their next show, and the victim was quoted as saying, among other things, "my head hurts now." ah, metalheads and their profundity!!
of course, i prefer the band's history - lead singer Dead committed suicide in 1991, and his bandmates fashioned a necklace out of his fractured skull (Hellhammer, drummer) and reportedly cooked and ate his brains (Euronymous, guitarist). then in 1993, Euronymous was stabbed to death by bass player Count Grishnackh, who was jealous of the guitar player's more "evil" reputation.
