happy birfday to me!!! i just got back from a really yummy lunch at Valley Chinese with Zack and my family. if you can, go there, its just really tasty chinese food, and the owner is wicked nice. last night i went with Zack and Georg to the Dresden Dolls show at The Space (which is a really neato little venue). if you haven't heard the Dresden Dolls, check them out NOW, then go see them live, because they're spectacular. they did 2 encores. plus they made Sabbath's War Pigs sound terrific with just drums and piano. and they're both really nice, funny, awesome people as well, not to mention outrageously talented. they made us forget both the opening act (which was pretty decent actually) and the long wait. Zack grabbed us the drumsticks from the second encore, because we eventually got right up front (oh yeah, the people at the show were really nice and cool too, the girl in front of me went to go get a drink and said "hey, you can take my spot" and then the girl next to her pulled me forward), the sticks were totally chipped and splintered from just one song. also i bought a tshirt. they're playing in Boston July 9th right before they go on Lollapalooza all summer, we might go down for it, and bring Georg and maybe Gabe, maybe we'll get a whole caravan going.

anyway, we're gonna finish watching The Head now, then maybe hang with Emily for a while.
