last night Ruth and Danielle and me went to the Industry, and it was actually pretty fun. we did have a little to drink beforehand (note to everyone: Captain Morgan's + Ocean Spray Juice & Tea in White Cranberry & Peach = deeeelicious. the tea flavor mixes really well with the alcoholicness of the rum, it helps enhance the tea while also cutting down on the alcohol burn, kind of a nice middle flavor and you can still taste the sweetness of the juice.) so yeah, we were dancey. theres lots of creepy guys at the Industry tho, but after a while me and Danielle figured out how to dance in a way that would keep them from being all grindy and molesty with us. Ruthie spent most of the night dancing with one guy, he seemed ok. we were out in the side yard smoking at one point and i met some guy who was born in Ireland and just got back from Iraq, he was really nice and was sad there wasn't a very big punk scene in Portland. i don't remember his name and he disappeared after a while but he was ok. he would have asked me out but i like to obviously mention that i have a Zack at home. :)

Tha Ali G Show is funny, you all should watch it. also, Venture Brothers, which is on in a few minutes.

i painted a cool monster today. he's all blue-green and he has little flippers and little tentacles for a mouth. yup, he's kinda cute. he looks like he'd mostly lie on the kitchen or bathroom floor and make funny gurgling noises.

the other night around 1 in the morning i got a call from my friend Ruthie, who i havent seen in 6 years. she lives in Florida now but is coming up for a couple weeks on Tuesday. its gonna be crazy. i have to work but Frank said he'd work something out on the schedule so i could spend time with her. on Saturday i think i'll take her to the Industry, i'm not really into that scene but i know she likes to go out and party so i figure if we break out the captain's a little first i might like it better. plus Melissa will probly be working the door, and i might take Danielle from work too.

tonight at work i noticed something about one of the things we sell: a Jack Daniels 8-ball. it says Old No. 7 brand on it...on the 8-ball. think about it, it might be kinda confusing on the pool table. yeah...whatever.
